It’s well established that we all love to eat. And we love to cook with ingredients that can be hard to find in Bogota – international products as well as those that are local, organic, sustainable, delicious. And sometimes we need to find all those things in one place – the artisan bread for dinner, a box of handmade chocolates for a gift, a good local cheese, a bottle of wine. In just one place, and at a price that won’t break the bank? That’s hard to find.

So just a few days after it opened, on a sunny Saturday morning, I stood on the corner of the Parque de la 93 and got my first look at Starbucks in Colombia.
