What will you learn during your Specialty Coffee Workshop?

Our dynamic 2-hour Specialty Coffee Experiences take you on a walking route through our favorite area of the city to two unique specialty coffee shops where you'll learn all about coffee in Colombia.

You will learn about:

  • Traditional Colombian coffee culture
  • Coffee history in Colombia
  • Who grows coffee in Colombia
  • How to understand the flavors in coffee
  • How coffee has impacted local cultures
  • How coffee changes lives
  • Why coffee is more important than ever to the present and future of Colombia
  • How you can help by purchasing the right kind of coffee

At each shop you will learn to taste coffee like the professionals do and try coffees from around the map of Colombia. You'll have access to Flavor of Bogota's coffee-tasting tools that were developed for specialty coffee in Colombia.

Don’t leave Colombia without learning about Colombian coffee.

Our small-group coffee workshops were designed in 2014 by Karen Attman, known as The Coffee Lady of Bogota. She's the founder and owner of Flavors of Bogota, a former university coffee professor, and author of Permission to Slurp. That's why these workshops are so educational, yet still fun and dynamic.
